NO SAMPLER REQUIRED!

PMI BOSENDORFER 290 comes as a VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT which includes a high-performance NATIVE INSTRUMENTS interface powered by the efficient KONTAKT audio engine, including Direct-from-Disk*, for Mac and PC (*You can use the freely-downloadable Direct-from-Disk extension).

The VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT combines intuitive handling with excellent 24-bit sound quality, and functions as a plug-in instrument, without the need for a sampler.

For the sonically adventurous, many sound shaping tools have been built in to the interface. Powerful multi-mode filters, envelopes, and LFOs give a wealth of creative possibilities. Integrated high-quality reverb, chorus, and delay effects are also provided.

Direct from Disk playback easily handles large samples beyond available RAM (which is assignable).

The PMI Bösendorfer 290 Virtual Instrument can be used stand-alone on a Mac and PC or under any sequencer application such as Cubase, Sonar, Cakewalk, Logic, DP, ProTools etc. The built-in effects make it very easy to create the exact sound you need and the sequencer integration makes recording this piano as simple as can be.

MAC (VST®2.0, ASIO™, Soundmanager™, OMS™, Audio Units™**, Core Audio™**, RTAS™**)
**OSX RTAS™ support and OS X compatibility including support for Audio Units and Core Audio are available as a downloadable update from the EastWest website. EastWest support Page. RTAS update with DFD will be available as a free download. The Sound Library can also be loaded into KONTAKT version 1.5 and up, for even greater flexibility and more options for working with the sound material. KONTAKT 1.5 is compatible with MAC OS X.

TECHNICAL ISSUES:
- When you purchased this Virtual Instrument you can use it for 5 days without limitations before you are asked to register the product. During the process an authorization code will un-lock the instrument permanently.

- After registration you can download the free DFD update, which enables disk streaming. This will make the loading of instruments much faster and will make the Virtual Instrument perform much better when you have less than 2 GB of free RAM in your system.

- After installation you can download the latest programs. You can download them from this website by clicking on the “updates” link in the left navigation menu. To install the latest programs, simply unzip the update, and copy the INSTRUMENTS folder to the location on your hard drive where the library is installed:
